«Arbat» is not just a stable, dynamically developing enterprise. It is a real Empire, headed by Alexander Basansky. «Arbat» became the first enterprise in the region which started extraction of deposits of buried gold formed in Great Ice Age at a depth of 90-100 m. It was one of the first to use the powerful Japanese diesel shovels.
The Holding consists of 11 mining objects, including two mines, placer enterprises; a jewellery workshop, 15 jewellery stores, and also a restaurant and a shopping center. One thousand employees are involved. How does he manage to run such a large-scale Company? What can be considered the key to success? How are human relations "the head - the subordinate", relations with partners and competitors built? We addressed these questions to Mr. Basansky, Director General of the Holding.

Expecting New Year the new jewelry store «Gold and Art» has opened in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Representatives of the municipal administration of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, heads of leading enterprises of Russian jewelry branch and show business stars became the visitors of the presentation.
The jewelry store «Gold and Art» settled down on the central city street and automatically attracted attention of citizens: there was healthy agiotage at the shop. The visitors were entertained by the capital actors - Pier Nartsiss and Elena Kukarskaya who "parted” directly on the steps. After a solemn greeting and official speeches all the visitors have been invited inside. There were so many people that a real jam has happened in the doorway. As a whole in the opening day the new jewelry store was visited approximately by 700 people.
On the 28th of June 2013 in the luxurious hall of the famous Moscow Korston Hotel the regular Awarding Ceremony of the winners of “The Best Jewellery Store of the Year” International Contest, held by the “Navigator for Jewellery Trade” magazine for the twelfth time, took place. On this day, the central event of the jewellery industry brought together an unprecedented number of participants and guests, including those from other countries. The increased foreign jewellers’ interest in the Contest has once again confirmed its importance at both national and global levels. The economist by education. The artist by mentality. The fan and the judge of all beautiful in life. It is Elena Vashchenko, the owner of popular jewelry salons in Slavyansk-On-Kuban city.
JSC «Krastsvetmet» is one of those rare companies that do not need to be introduced. Being the largest in Russia precious metals refining plant, it also takes the lead among Russian jewellery manufacturers. Nowadays it is impossible to imagine the range of goods in any of the jewellery stores from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok without Krastsvetmet chains; and Krasnoyarsk jewellery pleases the customers with its high quality and the variety of choice.

For the last few years the technology of synthesis of synthetic diamonds and techniques of change of diamonds properties, mainly on the improvement of color group have stepped far forward. At present ÑVD and HPHT technologies allow growing synthetic diamonds weighing more than 10 carats, and diagnostics of diamond origin is becoming more complicated and high-tech. The same is with treated diamonds.
The annual meeting of presidents of the World Diamond Bourses (WFDB Presidents’ Meeting)has passed from April, 11 till April, 14th in Dubai. One of the main decisions of the given action was the acceptance of the world program of certification of jewelry stores by means of the mark WFDB (the World Federation of DiamondBourses) – some kind of the quality mark confirming that its owner is reliable in sphere of brilliantsale.
