This year's new VicenzaOro Winter expo is about to get under way and from  18 to 23 January 2014, it will be confirming Fiera di Vicenza's role as an undisputed reference point in the gold and jewellery industry.  The theme of this year's fair is emblematic to say the least: “Ecosystem Italy” a strong message that for Italy may finally be a symptom of recovery.  About 1500 brands will be present in Vicenza, a figure that shows how the fair is the pulse of a creative industry that is continuing to grow and expand on international markets.

Saturday 18 January, at 6.00 pm., the  Convention Centre at Fiera di Vicenza will be hosting an inauguration talk that, starting with some observations on the international luxury goods scenario, will focus on excellence in the gold and jewellery industry.  The linchpin of this year's event and that of coming editions will be “VICENZAORO The Boutique Show”, an innovative concept to organise participating companies into “communities” of similar companies, according to values and production types, with parallel purchasing routes dedicated to buyers. Other new features will include two seminars promoted by TRENDVISION Jewellery+Forecasting, one dedicated to buyers and the other to designers: the focus for both will naturally be on intercepting the trends in the jewellery and watch-making industries.
