From its humble beginnings in 1993 with only 35 booths, GJX became the fastest growing gem show in Tucson’s gem show history, now boasting over 700 booths. Plans are underway for the construction of our new exhibition facility that will be the permanent home of GJX.

Our show is presently held in an 110,000 square foot ultra-structure that is fully carpeted and climate controlled. We offer the same amenities found in many of the shows held in permanent facilities, such as phone, fax and copy service, a food court and espresso bar, along with a helpful, friendly staff. We also offer spacious aisles for the convenience of our buyers. Armed, off-duty Tucson Police personnel are on-site 24 hours a day and a merchandise lock-up is provided to the exhibitor at no extra charge.

 There are currently over 30 independently owned and operated shows held almost simultaneously during the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show, with over 3,000 exhibitors citywide. GJX is a “wholesale to the lapidary trade show" and limited to finished gemstones, jewelry, gem carvings and/or related lapidary equipment and packaging.

A standard single booth in the GJX Gem Show is 8’ x 10’ and comes with one table, two chairs, wastebasket and company identification sign. Additional equipment may be rented from the exhibitor services kit, which is available to the exhibitor prior to the show.

 A pre-determined deposit is due at the time the contract is signed with the balance due September 1st. The booth fee is due in full on all contracts signed after September 1st.

 Anyone wishing to participate in the GJX Gem Show must submit an application. We will do our best to accommodate the request for a booth, however if we are unable to do so, the application will be kept on file until such time as an appropriate booth becomes available.
