The growth rates of the retail trade turnover in 2012-1014 will not exceed 5,5 % a year, that follows from the forecast of the social and economic development of the Russian Federation for 2012 and from the planning period of 2013-2014, which was prepared with the Ministry of economic development and trade (MED) and approved on the government session.
The growth rates of the retail trade turnover in 2011, as the Ministry of economic development and trade informed earlier, will make 5,3 % to level of 2010.
In 2012 the growth of the retail turnover is predicted at level of 5,5 %, in 2013 – 5,3 %, in 2014 – 5,5 %. If to compare an indicator for 2014 to an indicator for 2010 the branch turnover will increase on 23,2 %.
Thus during the forecast period the dynamics of nonfood products growth will keep forward the dynamics of food products growth. If the food products turnover in 2014 increases on 8,4 % by 2010, the nonfood products turnover – on 38,2 %.
«In 2012-2014 the pre-crisis tendency of the sales exposure growth of nonfood products from 51,7 % in 2011 to 53,5 % in 2014» will revive in the structure of the retail trade turnover (in the actual prices), – is added in the document.
Sales volumes of more expensive foodstuff will grow in the structure of food products and the share of meat and poultry, fish food production, fat cheeses, vegetables, fruits and berries will increase and the share of bread and bakery products, alcoholic drinks and sugar will decrease. Thus during the planning period decrease in a share of import in commodity resources of food products retail trade is expected, however as a whole it will remain at level of 30-35 %.
As for nonfood products the structural change in the household consumption will continue. The consumer demand will be turned to purchase of the goods of more "expensive" consumer preferences, first of all of personal computers, TV-sets, cars, audio equipments. The average annual growth of sales volumes for these commodity groups will keep forward the rates of increase of the nonfood products turnover on 4-7 items.
