The government of the Russian Federation charged the Ministry of Industry and Trade to issue general licenses for export of diamonds in 2012 to seven companies, including JSC "ALROSA", the corresponding order was placed on Thursday in the databank of federal normative and administrative documents.
The subsidiary enterprises of JSC "ALROSA" - OJSC "ALROSA-NURBA", OJSC "Diamonds of Anabar" and OJSC "Severalmaz" will obtain own licenses for export of diamonds.
Besides, OJSC "Nizhne-Lenskoe" and CJSC "Uralalmaz" will obtain licenses (they belong to the Israeli businessman Lev Levaev).
Also the license will be provided to FSUE (federal state unitary enterprise) "External economic association "Almazjuvelireksport" which exports the control parties of the natural diamonds implemented by the companies specified above through this enterprise.
Licenses for export of diamonds for 2011 have been documented on these seven companies.
JSC "ALROSA" is the largest manufacturer of diamonds in Russia and in the world,the company share is 30 % of the world production. The Group ALROSA in 2010 has increased sales of diamonds and brilliants almost in 1,6 times - till 3,48 billion dollars. For the first nine months of 2011 it implemented diamond production on 3,555 billion dollars that in 1,3 times more than the indicator of the similar period of 2010 is.
