Indian diamond manufacturers and Russian buyers will meet April 3-5 in Surat. The 15 manufacturers will have a chance to offer their goods and show their capabilities to 200 buyers arriving especially from Russia.
The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) together with Moscow Diamond Bourse (MDB) are organizing the event totted as the first opportunity for Russian companies to establish direct business contacts with diamond manufacturers in the heart of the diamond industry.
The summit program includes meetings, diamond viewings, visits to polishing plants and round table discussion with the participation of GJEPC Chairman Rajiv Jain and MDB President Alex popov.
After the Surat meetings, the guests will visit Jaipur to meet the local gemstone industry and enjoy the historical sites of the Pink City.
Among the Russian buyers are jewelers from 12 Russian regions covering the entire country.
