LLC Research and Production Company «EPL Diamond» is awarded with a honourable diploma and a memorial badge "Made in Russia for the World" («Made in Russia for the world community»). The awarding took place following the results of the regular competition on the title «The best Russian exporter of 2011». Together with "EPL" the same award was received by JSC ALROSA-Nyurba. The Yakut diamonders won in the category «Precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals and products from them».

For "ALROSA-Nyurba" it is actually the first such-like award, but "EPL" wins it here for the fifth year in a row, as it is said in the announcement of the company press service.

«This award confirms the high business reputation of the domestic producer not only at the internal, but also at the external markets therefore it is an achievement not only of the companies, but also for the republic as a whole, – as commented this joyful event the executive director of the Brilliants & Jewellery Manufacturers Guild of  the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Tatyana Kyrbasova. – It is especially important that one of them, «EPL Diamond», represents processing industry. After all the processing industry is workplaces for the population, salary and most importantly taxes. The VAT from processing of raw materials stays in Russia and in the republic.

On this subject the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin noted: one ruble of processing industry is equal to seven rubles of the mining industry. We, as the representatives of lapidary industry of RS (Yakutia), are proud that our flagship « EPL Diamond» receives this prestigious award for the fifth time. Stability is the factor of the higher skill and professionalism of our Yakut diamond-cutters, the index of competitiveness at the world market of the Yakut brilliants. The competition «the Best exporter of Russia» has been held since 2001. The founder is the ministry of the industry and trade of Russia.

The winners in the nomination become apparent upon the indexes of the consolidated export organization reports. The assessment technique considers such indexes, as sizes of export revenue, a share of export in total volume of enterprise deliveries, export dynamics for the considered period in comparison with previous one, assortment range, numbers of foreign clients and representations, and also other external economic business factors.
